Every event they provide the opportunity to obtain multiple buildings that have offensive bonuses, this despite the fact that most of these buildings have no relationship with the event and where originally introduced during another event. It's one thing when players start to play the game in a way that wasn't intended to be played like that, but another when the actual developers intentionally go along with it. There are no cities anymore, just row after row of buildings that provide extra offensive bonuses.Īs it stands it's a city building game where around 95% of all buildings have become obsolete as there's no merit in having them in your city. However, these days it's all centered around maximizing your offensive stats. It's this historical aspect that attracted me and the occasional historic quest lines even gave it an educative component. I started to play this game in 2014 because it was initially focused on building a city and expand it by venturing throughout different time periods. Well, I just consider this a case of 'you reap what you sow'.
